‘Original comedy. Done differently.’
Our goal was to create a campaign that would take the Dave brand in a new direction, boldly refuting the perception that we are a repeats-only channel and cementing us as a curator of distinct and original commissioned comedy. Initially briefed as a clip-based programme showcase, we pitched back an originated execution, in which our growing roster of talent talked ‘off the record’ about performing, their shows and comedy in general. Unfiltered, insightful, inclusive and above all funny, this approach represented a genuine step forward in the way we talked about the brand and was a direct illustration of our message: that Dave is an important, integral and unique voice in the UK comedy landscape.
