An ongoing partnership between Dave and the male mental health and suicide prevention charity CALM – the Campaign Against Living Miserably. We launched the partnership, and our ‘Be The Mate You’d Want’ campaign, with an award-winning ad break-takeover voiced by James Acaster, in which we blocked out four minutes of commercial airtime to literally give viewers the opportunity to get in touch with a friend who could be in need. The campaign continued for two years, with on-air messaging as well as experiential activity including branded beer-mats in pubs, a free coffee stunt and national press ads.
