Launching the new commission Guy Martin’s Proper Jobs posed a challenge – how to demonstrate the diverse range of jobs Guy undertakes across the series in a coherent and impactful image. Our solution was simple: to divide the hero image into distinct parts with subtle environmental and costume elements tying the piece together with Guy anchoring everything at the centre. This approach had an added advantage as it also provided four consistent but role-specific episodic images that could be used across the campaign.
